Yamaha Announces Update on YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M
Yamaha announced that it has updated its YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M models with new technologies. Yamaha has announced that you are making small but important updates to this model. These updates allow you to more effectively explore the potential of your driver and motorcycle. The engine features offer the same features as the previous version. It has a 998cc 197hp 4-cylinder engine. But it does have a lot of electronic updates.
Updated QSS Gearbox system
The gearbox system Yamaha uses in this model offers downshift and downshift without using a clutch, which helps to maintain the chassis balance while shifting faster and reduces the physical and mental burden of the driver.
Renewed Öhlins Electronic Race Suspension
Yamaha’s racing suspension used in this model is the race suspension (ERS) produced by Öhlins. These suspensions are the most sophisticated systems ever produced. With updated software and driver confidence, it offers higher braking, acceleration and cornering support.
New ECU Map and Improved Lift Control
The YZF-R1M utilizes the updated ECU map in the new downshifting mode in the shift system. LIF was developed to provide the best control during Acceleration. The unwanted vibrations of this do not distract you and you can focus on the path ahead
YZF-R1M Model Renewed Brake System
Single-body calipers with 220 mm rear brake discs and 320 mm front brake discs are equipped with Yamaha’s combined braking system to achieve high control levels on different track and road conditions, as well as a sophisticated ABS that is sensitive to bends.
