Usually change the oil on my KTM 350 every 10-15hrs

Question

KTM guy here with a Beta question. I just picked up a beta 450rr for a good buddy that wanted to get into riding, in the sea of clapped out jap bikes for sale this came up for a good price so I popped on it. It has only 71 hours and the previous owner was an older fellow that only rode mellow singletrack with it and it shows. I already know about the oil pump gears and I'll be checking those asap but my question is about regular oil change intervals being the gearbox doesn't share oil with the motor, I usually change the oil on my KTM 350 every 10-15hrs so what would that interval look like on this Beta?

I have a 2012 450rr and I change the engine oil at 10-12 hours and the clutch-trans about every 30-40…

Depends on how hard you ride it. Ride like a racer and I’d change it every 20 hrs. If not then every 40 or so. Recommend is 30 but that’s if you ride it hard.

I’d change it asap to see if any obvious problems pop up. Then every 4 or 5 rides after that. More often if the oil comes out super dirty. Less if it looks clear and clean.
