Tenere 700 temperature problems.

Question

Does anybody have problems with the temperature from the T700? Mine get,s very hot before the fan goes on 105° .

Makes me scary , although there is enough coolung fluid inside .

Also my turnsignal burns constantly after mounting the original plus ledlamps from Yamaha , the lamps are blinking ok.

Please answer if you have same problems.

These bikes seem to run very hot, some into the high 120s fahrenheit, it’s concerning.

send the ecu for a reflash, the fan can be started at 95.. comes with other positives as well..

Its just the stock settings. Kicks on around 215-220. Get a flash like Niklas said

The cooling system is pressurized, so the 105u00b0C(!) is fine…no issue even in Italy. This temps you can find in other cooling systems, too. Btw. e.g. the valve in the cooling systems is fully open at quite high temps, at 95u00b0C. Just to give you an idea of the engine operating temperatures.. If you want it running cooler, first you have to make the F/A ratio richer, then tweak the fan, cooling system and its hysteresis etc. Like already said by others you have to remap it, flash the ECU. Drive save…

105 its normal for all yamahas. They like to run hot. Don’t feel the heat on my legs on t7 – so not a problem.
I did flash mine mt10 and set fans at 95c. Actually helps only in trafic…fans will run like crazy…. may die sooner

I’m sure Yamaha engineers who have spent years developing engines and cooling systems have the best knowledge out there for their engines and I’m sure they have spent a lot of time testing in very hot and very cold conditions, I doubt Dr Facebook has the true answer. If you are concerned ask email yamaha direct.
