Stopping power is good but the pads seem noisy!

Question

Replaced front pads with EBC sintered pads. Stopping power is good but the pads seem noisy! Is this normal? Checked everything over and no issues other tan noisy when applied. Thanks

Thankyou, yes they were noticeably rougher so made sense they’d be noisy but guess i needed confirmation 😂

sintered are noisier, also if you didn’t copperslip the BACK! of the pad they’re probably vibrating against the anti rattle pads or pistons

i use fully floating pfm discs with carbon pads, they sound like a bunch of puppies being murdered sometimes, but the stopping power is always there

the pads were copperslipped and they are certainly upto the job of stopping me, just needed the reassurance the noise was normal

they tend to sound like they are sanding the discs.
