Looking for heat resistant repair patch kit

Question

Looking for heat resistant repair patch kit. Right knee touching the exhaust when backing the bike into the narrow driveway, trousers melt, chrome gets black, real mess, any suggestions ? Thanks!

    My solution is to wrap my pipes lol

    Oven cleaner, just protect rest of bike from overspray.

    I just got the pipes hot again and scraped it off.

    When pipes are cool use 0000 steel wool. Have used it for years on chrome. Good for road tar etc.
