Its like that with all aftermarket exhausts for these bikes. If you think yours is bad ride around one with a Two bros exhaust. Get a Power Commander V and get your bike tuned and you’ll see it less.
It’s not so bad but was just wondering if it was normal
Yea I’m pretty sure popping is running lean or rich, your computer is trying to compensate for the extra air being expended.
Does it cause damage in anyway?
running rich doesn’t usually hurt too much but will kill fuel consumption. Running to lean though could damage the motor
Get it tuned and you should be fine. And a power commander like the other guy said
You never want to run lean
Hell yeah, sounds good. Spoke to my father-in-law about it, and he said it should not cause any damage to the engine. This bloke built his first bike from scrap bits when he was 14yrs old
So I drove 5 hours yesterday, Didn’t realise till this morning that the can has a massive hole where its melted ? anyone else experienced this on my delkevic. I will get a picture tomorrow
