How progressive is Raynaud’s?
How progressive is Raynaud’s? Is it like the other autoimmune conditions being very variable & difficult to treat? I’ve only now been diagnosed after some years with a freezing cold left hand. But I had a weird experience last year when I had a GI infection – I’d developed a mild temp but my whole left arm was suddenly freezing cold – having never had such a symptom I was totally sure it was connected to whatever infection I had. Now though I’m wondering if it might have been a drop in my BP (I’ve low BP at the best of times) affecting the Raynauds perhaps. And more recently I’ve found my legs getting freezing cold in the middle of the night. I’m mildly underweight (5’7″ & 8 st) & because of chronic hypersensitive skin I’ve long used a flotation mattress for comfort but even the constant pressure changes don’t seem enough to prevent pressure related problems. 🙁 Apologies – didn’t mean to write so much. Just the first time I’ve had somewhere to talk about the symptoms with a group who’ll probably understand more than most. 🙂
