Correct bulb type for St1100 instrument lights?

Question

Good morning. A daft question, but here goes.
Does anyone know the correct bulb type for St1100 instrument lights?
Haynes helpfully says that they are 1.7w but makes no reference to the cap type. I have a blown one and would prefer to have the replacement in my mits before getting in to the back of the instrument panel.
Thanks in advance.

You’re better off putting led’s in as they give off a much better and clearer light than normal bulbs. They also do not produce anywhere near as much heat as the standard bulbs and also have a lot less draw on the battery so better all round in my opinion. I did mine about 2 years ago and they’re still going strong. Well worth it mate
